On Instagram, she posted a picture of herself in a neck brace and said: "Been in car accident. Got rescued by helicopter. Ejected from car window about 20ft.
"Suspected injuries to my back & ankle and head but I’m doing ok. Doctors say I’m lucky to be alive. Send healing energy please."
Becky updated her fans on Twitter saying: "Had a horrific car accident last night but lived to tell the tale.
"Honestly don’t know how I came out of it alive. Forever grateful for my grandma watching down on me."
Writing from a hospital in Texas, she added: "First I want to thank whoever was watching me tonight because I just escaped death. I’m very lucky to have come out of such a horrific car accident and not have serious injuries.
"I’ve broken a bone in my back which will heal. I have some minor cuts a lot of bruises and bumps but nothing compared to how I could have ended up.
"We slipped on an oil spill in the road and I managed to be thrown out the window and over the highway barrier. I’m shocked I have managed to live through this. Probably the most traumatic experience of my life.
"Thank you for everyone’s messages of love and support I’m so happy to tell you I will be ok, please send more healing prayers to David who unfortunately came off a lot worse and has broken his pelvis."
