Britain Got Talent viewers think they know the real identity of CGI cat Noodle.
Judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli were left speechless on Saturday when an animated cat took the stage.
The grey feline was seen wearing a Union Flag handkerchief tied around its neck.
It appeared to sing in perfect pitch while it danced around in one of the most unique entries ever to perform in the competition.
"It's a cat!" Bruno remarked before the creature greeted the judges: "My name is Noodle. I wanted to come and audition for Britain's Got Talent because there are so many dogs made famous by the show, I thought it was time you saw a talented cat."
The cat coughed then up a fur ball before launching into a rendition of the song Feeling Good.
Noodle – who was more like something from The Masked Singer than Britain’s Got Talent - received a standing ovation from the judges.
Amanda remarked: "OMG! I can't believe that voice has come out of somebody with such a tiny neck."
"You must be Michael Bublé's pussycat," Bruno joked.
Alesha said what many viewers at home were perhaps thinking: "This might be the most bizarre thing I've ever seen.”
While some viewers pondered why the ‘cat’ didn’t just sing as themselves, others began to speculate about who the mystery singer could be.
There are a few famous names going round, with fans sure the person behind the voice is already a famous singer.
One Twitter user wrote: “Tom Fletcher from MyFly/Busted is the voice #BGT.”
Another thought it was the actor who played Elton John in the recent Rocketman biopic, commenting: “Taron Egerton is that you (has his singing voice).”
A third suggested it could be magician and former BGT contestant Marc Spelmann saying: “So we have just found what Marc Spelmann is doing this year.”
But there were two more names that got viewers talking the most – both of whom have big voices.
“It’s Tom Ball from last year’s BGT. 1000%. Listen to the voice. It’s him. Put money on it,” one said.
“This is 100% Tom Ball,” another tweeted.
More viewers claimed it sounded most like Queen frontman Adam Lambert, who has stepped in for the late, great Freddie Mercury, since 2011.
“Sounded like Adam Lambert xx,” one fan commented. “Adam Lambert on BGT,” said another.
More fan theories are: “Got a feeling that this is going to be a surprise act. Someone who’s been on it but coming back to win.”
Another said: “This singing cat act is an idea producers have come up with off the back of Masked Singer.”
“Can I ask why the singing CGI cat just didn’t audition for #bgt as himself? Why feel the need to be an animate cat pls,” a third questioned.
