Britain's Got Talent star 'unrecognisable' in glam 'toilet' selfie 15 years since TV debut

A Britain's Got Talent star now looks completely different to her childhood self that appeared on the popular ITV competition show over a decade ago.

Connie Talbot, who is now 21-years-old, took to her Instagram this week and posted a cheeky wee 'toilet selfie' to her 300,000 followers, the Daily Record reports.

She snapped herself in a stylish black leather jacket and funky top, with little make-up on and her hair styled in loose curls.

The singer was a mere six years of age when she first appeared on television, stealing hearts across the nation when she sweetly sang Somewhere Over The Rainbow.

In a little yellow dress and long blonde hair, she sang her little heart out, much to the adoration of the crowd at the auditions for Britain's Got Talent.

Judges at the time were blown away, as Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and even Piers Morgan gave her a standing ovation.

Connie admitted at the time that she initially applied "as a joke", but made it all the way to the finals of the series, only losing out to winner Paul Potts.

After the show concluded, she was signed to Simon Cowell's record label, toured in Asia where she garnered adoring fans, and released two Christmas albums - Connie Talbot's Christmas Album and Connie Talbot's Holiday Magic.

Then in 2012, she released Beautiful World under a new label based in Hong Kong, Evosound, and reached number one in the charts in Taiwan.

In 2019, the teenager made her return to ITV on Britain's Got Talent: The Champions, and sang an original song to much rave reviews from judges.

She still sings professionally and has taken on song-writing in a new career move, but also devotes her time to charity work as an ambassador for The African Children's Choir and promoting their education and relief projects in Africa.

Connie also has a huge following on YouTube, where she posts videos of herself singing original songs and covers.

As well as jet-setting around the world with her singing, Connie's also shares part of her family life on social media including the arrival of her nieces.

The current Britain's Got Talent continues Saturday on ITV at 8pm.
