"Paula's legacy will always live in our memories from her utter joy of dance."
Fans of the late dancer flocked to the comments section to share their sadness at the news, with many remembering her dancing.
One person posted: "Oh no so sad I had the opportunity to meet Paula she was kind and thoughtful."
While another wrote: "I am so sorry to hear this. My condolences.”

While a fourth fan said: "Rest in peace Paula, loved her on BGT."
Back in 2012, Paula set the stage alight with her incredible wheelchair dances in the ITV competition, performing as part of the dance group Strictly Wheels with her friend Gary Lyness.
Paula was a firm favourite with viewers and judges Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden and David Walliams throughout the series.
The duo's semi-final performance was particularly joyful, and they twirled and moved all around the stage, unfortunately though, the pair missed out on a chance in the final.
Dancer Paula contracted MRSA during a stay in the hospital when she was receiving treatment for pneumonia.
The star first got the superbug nearly two decades ago, and it left her with a damaged pelvis, hips and lower spine as well as one of her femurs.
Tributes are continuing to pour in for the talented dancer.
