The TV star was left with a bandage on his forehead after he headbutted the solid fruit on the show. He wasn't hurt though as he continued laughing with his co-star Declan Donnelly.
McPartlin was left with a small wound following the incident. He actually hadn't noticed he was bleeding until Dec pointed it out.
Firstly, he punched the fruit before warning viewers: "Do not punch coconuts kids, it really hurts. I think I nearly broke my knuckle."
He then hit a coconut on his forehead and seconds later, Dec told him: "You've cut your head on a coconut." Ant joked as he pointed at the camera: "How irresponsible are you?"
Ant joked about his bandage as he said: "This is very extreme for a little tap on the forehead." A medic told the star he would need to change his dressing every day for three weeks."
