Ant and Dec have been forced to issue a disclaimer alongside a video of them predicting the fate of acts trying out for Britain's Got Talent this year.
The new series of the long-runnin g ITV show is now four episodes in, with the audition episodes continuing on Saturday night. And for the first time so far this year, this weekend's show was devoid of any Golden Buzzer action, after the first three episodes saw Amanda Holden, Simon Cowell and David Walliams all hit theirs. Viewers at home felt like daring gymnasts The Freaks were thoroughly deserving of a pass straight through to the semi finals after performing a series of death-defying stunts, but neither Alesha Dixon or hosts Ant and Dec, whose 2020 Golden Buzzer act Jon Courtenay ended up winning, were swayed to push the button.
But, ahead of Saturday' s Britain's Got Talent airing, the presenters did have their say on who they thought would go through, purely based on a list of acts and their descriptions they'd been handed. Sitting backstage, Ant looked very excited about the prospect of a musical comedy act called Dinos, with Dec slightly more pessimistic about their chances, responding: "The problem is, Simon has a strange sense of humour so it's either hit or miss that."

Moving through the list, Ant discussed the chances of a magic act, a genre of entertainment that has traditionally done rather well on BGT, with him commenting: "Has the sun set on the golden era of magic? I'm going to say no." Ant then landed a dig at the judges upon seeing a poet will be auditioning, quipping: "Those philistines! They won't get poetry."
Conscious that followers who saw the video might assume the acts discussed might all be on the new episode, Ant and Dec added the disclaimer about the video, writing: "Danger, dinos, music, magic and more! There’s only one way to find out which #BGT auditions we'll see tonight - and if we’re right with our predictions…8pm @ITV
"*This video was filmed during the live auditions and not all acts mentioned will appear in tonight’s show."
