Britain's Got Talent final: Maxwell Thorpe and Jamie Leahey qualify for Sunday's live show

Britain's Got Talent have confirmed the first two acts that will be competing in Sunday's live final. The winner of the series will get the chance to perform at the Royal Variety Performance.

Singer Maxwell Thorpe and ventriloquist Jamie Leahey beat off competition and made it through to the final. Maxwell, who gave a powerful operatic performance, clearly impressed viewers at home because he came top of the public vote. The singer looked emotional as he was told the news by Ant & Dec.

Jamie Leahey (and his companion, Chuck) were up against magician Junwoo. The judges, ultimately, chose to give the youngster a shot at winning the competition, all commenting on how hard the decision was.
