Britain's Got Talent fans were far from happy on Monday night as a favourite act was sent packing in the first live show of the series.
Viewers flocked to social media to share their outrage after the Witches got the boot in the two-hour long show.
Instead, talented acts Maxwell Thorpe and Jamie Leahey progressed to this year's final after the first semi-final.
But the result left fans far from happy and Twitter was full of complaints from angry viewers.
One user tweeted: "No! I liked The Witches, despite being ruined by the judges stupid jokes."
The comment came after the judges made what s ome believed to be "disrespectful" comments following the act's performance.
Another fan slammed: "BGT is so fixed," while a third exclaimed: "NAH. This voting is all wrong. How the **** have some of these acts gone home over the acts in the Top 3?"
But it wasn't all doom and gloom and other fans hit up the social media platform with praise for the acts who are still in with a chance of winning the coveted prize.
One user commented: "Well done to Maxwell Thorpe for getting through to the final.
"One of the best singing talents BGT has seen in years. I'd love to see him win."
The busker from Sheffield stunned the crowd, judges and viewers alike with a sensational performance which perfectly showcased his Opera style.
Jamie Leahay joined him in the final, grabbing the runner-up spot thanks to the public vote.
He just pipped Junwoo after judges David Walliams, Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon failed to separate the pair with their own vote.
The decision to send the Witches home wasn't the only thing fans complained about during Monday's semi-final either.
During a segment of the talent show, viewers were left disappointed as the live show cut out and jokes quickly circulated saying someone will no doubt be getting sacked for the error.
One person shared on social media: "Someone's getting fired," while another wrote: "My tv got stuck on a clock for a few seconds…"
Amanda's choice of outfit also received a lot of attention during the show.
While her wardrobe attire doesn't always win the plaudits, Monday's style was well received as she took to the judges' panel wearing a glittering strapless gown which was covered with jewels.
