Britain's Got Talent comedian, 14, says ITV show scouted her on Instagram

Britain's Got Talent contestant Eva Abley has opened up about her journey to the stage as she wowed the judges with her stand up comedy.

The 14-year-old, who suffers from cerebral palsy, left the audience in hysterics in the latest episode of Britain's Got Talent. Judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon were left in stitches as the hilarious comic spilled her witty one-liners during her audition.

She said: “I'd like to apologise if you can't understand me, I have a disability called cerebral palsy, and I'm from the black country. So if you can't hear, wait until you get home and rewatch it with the subtitles on.”

The judges were left in hysterics as she added: “My full medical diagnosis is spastic ataxic quadriplegic cerebral palsy.

“Really? I have enough trouble asking Alexa a question and they expect me to say that? I mean, come on!”

The teen appeared on Lorraine to speak about her comedic endeavours and how she made it to the big stage. Eva spoke about her success on the show, where she received stellar feedback from the judges and left the audience in stitches, was partly a way for her to get back at bullies in school who drove her to be home-schooled.

Eva told Lorraine on Monday: “I started to tell people my jokes and then, because I find it hard with a disability for people to accept me, I found that jokes were kind of breaking that point in my disability, then people would want to get to know me more.”

Eva said she was scouted on Instagram after Britain's Got Talent saw a joke she had posted on her page.

Lorraine then asked: “So it came from that? Isn’t that amazing.”

During the show, Amanda Holden was left gobsmacked after a terrifying fire act appeared to have taken a turn for the worst. Steve Rawlings took to the stage blindfolded while trying to juggle - and then set his batons on fire.

He then accidently set his face covering on fire as the audience gasped in horror. A BGT crew member rushed on stage to hold a towel but shockingly, caught himself on fire.
