An animated cat was one of the stand-out acts on Britain's Got Talent in Saturday night's episode (April 29) as fans were left baffled. Noodle the singing cat, who belted out Nina Simone's Feeling Good, caused jaws to drop as fans of the ITV talent show questioned what was going on.
@allantanddec tweeted: "Was anyone here in the audience for the cgi cat audition? I’m genuinely so confused, what were you reacting to? What was on stage at the time?" And @andrewmcb asked: "A CGI cat….. what are the audience reacting to?!"
Audience member @idlewildgirl cleared up the mystery for some confused viewers, saying the cat wasn't on stage as it had appeared to be on TV and was actually on a big screen. She tweeted: "I was there when they filmed this weird cat thing. We had to pretend it was there."

@daniel_barker asked her: "What were you actually looking at? We are quite confused." And @idlewildgirl informed them "They had it on a screen there was nothing on the stage."
@idlewildgirl told fellow Twitter users: "I’m glad they didn’t show me going WTF." @LazuliButterfly told her: "My brain was like 'wtf?! What the hell are the audience seeing?!'" And she replied: "Nothing."
@evilnoob praised: "His voice is insane." And @idlewildgirl said: "We were wondering if they were someone already famous." After being blown away by Noodle's powerhouse vocals, fans are wondering if there might be a surprise unveiling to reveal the person behind the animated image, like on another hit ITV show The Masked Singer.
Many think that Noodle is singing teacher Tom Ball from last year's series. @josh_mitchell6 tweeted: "That voice of the AI cat is 1000% Tom Ball from last year!"
@MattMurtagh_also said: "That cat thing is 100% Tom Ball’s voice." And @OffTrack94 echoed: "The cat on #bgt #BritainsGotTalent is Tom Ball. 100%."
Noodle told the judges: “I wanted to come and audition for Britain’s Got Talent because there are so many dogs made famous by the show. I thought it was time you see a talented cat." After the audition an impressed Bruno Tonioli said: “You must be Michael Bublé’s pussycat, those vocals were insane.”
And Simon Cowell said: “I’ve always said a singing animal would win Britain’s Got Talent, I didn’t necessarily believe it. I never thought one day I would be talking to a cat saying how much I love your singing voice but I am. And I think Noodle you could possibly win the show.”
