Popular TV talent show Britain's Got Talent is back for the first time since 2020. Anyone with any talent can apply to be on the show, from the weird and wonderful to the simply jaw-dropping, as the show aims to showcase the best of British talent.
Previous winners have included the successful dance group Diversity and Pudsey, the performing dog, with his owner Ashleigh. No series was aired in 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic and the auditions were instead filmed in January 2022.
Comedy hosts Ant and Dec will be back presenting the show and the judging line-up will be Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden, Simon Cowell, and David Walliams. Alesha and David joined Amanda and Simon as judges in 2012 and have remained on the show since.

Simon will be making his return to TV after he broke his back in a cycling accident in 2020 and stepped back from TV roles since then, including not being a judge on ITV's Starstruck. Britain's Got Talent will return to our screens on ITV on Saturday, 16, April, and ITV have not confirmed what time it will air.
In previous years the show has been aired from April to July, with the semi-final and final broadcast live. In February 2022 Simon had to miss part of the auditions for this series after he tested positive for Covid-19.
The most recent winner of Britain's Got Talent comedy singer Jon Courtenay, who was Ant and Dec's Golden Buzzer act, is going on tour and performing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Britain's Got Talent returns on Saturday, April, 16 on ITV.
