During a session at the UK's House of Commons, it was noted that HTS has provided reassurances to minority groups in Aleppo, Hama, and Damascus. Additionally, the group has expressed willingness to collaborate with the international community on monitoring chemical weapons.
The Foreign Secretary emphasized the importance of observing HTS's actions closely, particularly in how they and other parties involved in the conflict treat civilians residing in areas under their control. This cautious approach reflects the need to assess HTS based on their conduct and adherence to humanitarian principles.
