Brit locked up over expired visa won't let 'horrific' stint in jail stop his travelling

A British teacher locked up in a Chinese prison for overstaying his visa has described his "horrific" stint for the first time.

Daniel Thompson, 48, had been working in Jinan since October 2019, teaching English to locals.

But police found his visa had expired last month so he was locked up for a week at a mountain prison.
