BRIT Awards host Mo Gilligan apologises for swearing as he admits he 'got carried away'

Mo Gilligan has apologised after swearing live on air as he hosted the BRIT Awards 2022.

The comedian is at the helm of the awards ceremony this evening, but as he sat with host Maya Jama and BRIT Award winner Olivia Rodrigo in the VIP area, he apologised for accidentally muttering a swear word earlier in the night.

Apologising for his faux pas, Mo - who is currently sitting on The Masked Singer judging panel - admitted he had "got carried away", as veteran presenter Maya reassured him that it happens to everyone, before the duo decided to down a shot each.
