Max was revealed as one of 12 national award winners by Marcus, taking home a NatWest Thrive award in recognition of how much he achieved while on the programme. The 11-year-old said: “I really want to be a footballer, so all the way through it was brilliant to know that Marcus Rashford was part of this. I couldn’t believe it when he came to our graduation and we got a chance to speak to him. I’ve learned so much and I’m really happy I was involved.”
