People in Bristol planning to watch the Queen's state funeral on Monday (September 19) should be able to do so in fairly dry conditions. The current weather forecast from the Met Office says the city will have sunny conditions in the morning before clouding over later on.
A Bank Holiday has been declared in the UK to mark the sombre occasion as the nation pays tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth II, who died a week ago (September 8) in Balmoral. Many businesses will be shut alongside schools to allow people to pay their respects to Her Majesty.
The weather forecast around the UK on the day is for fine and dry weather with sunny spells. Some parts of the country will see cloud cover and occasional showers or spots of rain.

Looking at Bristol, the Met Office has forecast that it will be a sunny morning in the city with temperatures climbing to 14°C at 10am. It then says cloud cover will begin to move in the early afternoon, although sunny intervals are predicted.
Temperatures are set to peak at 18°C at around 4pm, although by then conditions will be cloudy. Moving into the evening, conditions will stay the same but with a 10 per cent chance of rain.
In its outlook for Saturday to Monday across South West England, the Met Office said: "Largely fine with some sunshine at times. Cloudier periods as well with perhaps the odd light shower. Cool for the time of year with some chilly nights, especially at first."
The Queen's funeral is set to begin at Westminster Abbey at 11am on Monday. Before the service starts, Her Majesty's coffin will be carried over in a procession from Westminster Hall, where her body currently lies in state to give members of the public a chance to pay their respects.
