James Belshaw - 8
Made an important save at 0-0 to close down Aaron Drinan's attempted chip after a couple of defensive slips, and the Gas swiftly went up the other end to take the lead. Gladly watched Drinan and Harry Smith spurn big chances before making a superb save, palming away Smith's downward header in the final 10 minutes.
Luca Hoole - 8
Another completely assured showing on the right of the back four, shutting down several attacks and showing good ambition to break forward.
Connor Taylor - 7
Off colour, which has rarely been the case this season. Sloppy moments in possession gifted Orient a chance in each half. He was pleased to see Aaron Drinan spurn both. Regardless, won plenty of important headers in the final stages when Orient battled to get back in the game.
James Connolly - 8
Probably his best performance so far, showing quality on the ball to stretch Orient and create opportunities for the Gas to spear passes through the lines. Completed his defensive duties coolly, too.
Harry Anderson - 8
Was forced to shift positions by Nick Anderton's late withdrawal from the starting XI, but Anderson made the move to left-back seamlessly and gave the Gas a dynamic threat on the flank. Played an important role in the build-up to both goals and his engine powered his teammates through some difficult moments.
Paul Coutts (c) - 7
Was taken off again on 60 minutes after another good shift where he moved the ball efficiently and screened the defence smartly.
Sam Finley - 8
Another to play a crucial role in both goals, claiming the assist for the first. Found a second wind in the last quarter to ensure Rovers were not going to throw away the points.
Sam Nicholson - 8
A thorn in the Orient side throughout the first half. Not getting the goals his performances deserve, but his contributions continue to be valuable, with his parried shot tapped in at the back post by Aaron Collins for 2-0.
Elliot Anderson - 7
Moments of frustration for the teenager as he lost his footing several times when looking to get on the attack, but there were impressive glimpses within his performance, including one of those half-turns he's mastered already in his young career in the build-up to the opening goal. Took several kicks and was substituted as a result.
Antony Evans - 8
Called into the XI in place of Anderton at the last minute, but showed his trademark composure and desire for the ball. Unlucky to clip the outside of the post with a free-kick before scoring via the same upright to put the Gas ahead. His 25-yard strike curled away from Lawrence Vigouroux and added another moment to his incredible highlight reel this season. A quieter second half as Rovers spent more time in their own half, but a fine return.
Aaron Collins - 7
No doubting he's a striker now, scoring for the third successive game, this time with another predatory finish. He positioned himself perfectly for a tap-in after Nicholson fired across goal. Should have done better when Leon Clarke's flick-on released him clear on goal, but a good night's work all in all as Collins continued his incredible run of scoring since December.
Substitutes
Ryan Loft (for E Anderson on 58') - 7
Worked very hard and gave Rovers a target to aim at when they needed to flip the territory battle.
Glenn Whelan (for Coutts, 58') - 7
Used his experience to commit clever fouls to prevent moments of danger. Took a booking for the team.
Leon Clarke (for Nicholson, 74') - 7
Won some clever free-kicks and his flick-on gave Collins a big chance to make it 3-0 and put the game beyond doubt.
Not used: Anssi Jaakkola, Luke Thomas, Pablo Martinez, Harvey Saunders.
