Bristol Rovers FIFA 23 ratings in full with Aaron Collins and Antony Evans among highest rated

Four of Bristol Rovers’ promotion heroes have been rewarded for their parts in getting the Gas back into League One with notable ratings rises in the database for FIFA 23.

Aaron Collins, Sam Finley, Antony Evans and James Belshaw all played key roles in Rovers’ dramatic run to the final automatic promotion spot and are four of the six highest-rated players at the club in the latest edition of the game.

The fifth and sixth member of the group all rated at 65 overall are summer signing Luke McCormick who, despite experiencing relegation with AFC Wimbledon, has risen by two points on his player card, and Fulham loanee Sylvester Jasper.

Evans, who scored 10 goals and delivered 12 assists, and goalkeeper Belshaw, who recorded 17 clean sheets and was Rovers’ Player of the Season, are the big risers, each gaining four but there are some key individuals who have been slightly marked down.

By his admission, the 2021/22 season was not a happy one for John Marquis and that is reflected by the No9 being downgraded by two, while veteran midfielders Paul Coutts and Glenn Whelan and, even more curiously, versatile Harry Anderson have also seen their ratings drop slightly despite their roles in the Gas’ successful campaign.

Unfortunately for that quartet, the ratings are fixed in Ultimate Team for the next 12 months but the Career Mode ratings - which are to be released on September 27 - are subject to change over the course of the campaign as they’re designed to mirror real-life form.

Luca Hoole is the biggest riser in the squad after what was a breakout season for the Wales Under-21 international as the defender has jumped eight points to 62. Last year's leaders, Anssi Jaakkola and Alfie Kilgour, meanwhile, have been downgraded after campaigns where they were either out of favour or injured.

Poignantly, Nick Anderton has also been given a place in the squad after the defender was diagnosed with osteosarcoma earlier this summer and is unlikely to play for the rest of the season.

It’s also worth noting that Everton loanee Lewis Gibson is yet to appear in this year’s database but it remains to be seen whether or not he’ll be added before the game’s release on September 30. You can see the full list of Rovers ratings below via FUTBIN...
