A Bristol restaurant with iconic harbour views will be hosting a one-night-only supper club experience with a whopping seven courses, each paired with gin cocktails.
In collaboration with Plymouth gin, Riverstation is set to serve an intimate ‘Food for Thought’ dinner on August 23 - to celebrate the best of seasonal produce across the British Isles and complete with a cocktail pairing. Attendees will be dining on a tasting menu that showcases produce from land and sea, which is said to be all sustainably sourced and aims to improve the state of the oceans and native ecosystems.
Riverstation will also be working with pub chain, Young’s, which has brought on executive chef Matt Sullivan to curate the sustainability-focused menu. He incorporated ingredients which are typically found in abundance but often underutilised in dishes - such as Devon Spider Crab with pickled beets and heritage apple, Dorset snails with a porridge sourdough, Wood pigeon with Scottish girolles and sorrel cream, and a Shropshire goat with bone marrow and chestnut gnocchi.

Each dish will be served with a cocktail pairing from Plymouth Gin, including a classic G&T, gimlet and sloe gin with ginger. The Food for Thought supper club is priced at £100 per person for all seven courses with gin pairing, and with only 20 spaces per dinner, booking via the restaurant's website is said to be essential.
The supper club is part of Young’s ongoing partnership with Plymouth Gin, supporting the gin brand’s sustainability efforts. Young’s say they have raised more than £20,000 for Ocean Conservation Trust with Plymouth Gin so far this year, which is said to go directly towards their work to clean up and protect the seas.
