A popular pub in South Bristol has told parents that their children have to remain sitting at the table, after three incidents in which children received minor injuries.
The Victoria Park pub in Windmill Hill said they had to bring in the new policy following a health and safety evaluation, following a number of incidents which saw children who weren’t sitting at their tables get injured.
The pub has said it still welcomes and ‘values’ young guests ‘immensely’, and declined to give more details on the nature of the incidents or injuries, but the instruction and announcement has left some parents - especially those with children with special needs - saying they now feel unwelcome.
