Anti-monarchy protesters plan to gather on College Green this weekend - very close to where the cathedral's big screen will be showing the Coronation.
Campaigners will meet at 12pm on Saturday (May 6) to voice their disapproval of the King and the royal family. But the demo will take place only metres away from where royal fans hope to watch the live event.
A huge screen is being installed so people can view the historic Coronation from 11am onwards. It's unclear which group has organised the protest or how many people will attend.

Discussing the protest on Reddit, a lot of users didn't agree with it taking place. One person said: "The only thing more dull than a Coronation could be a protest in a city some distance away demonstrating against it surely. Thunderstorms are predicted apparently too."
Another said: "I'm not sure what that's going to achieve. Besides I'd prefer drinking beers at home."
The Met has already warned that protesters who try to disrupt the Coronation in the capital can expect "very swift action" from police who will have "an extremely low threshold" when dealing with them. Metropolitan Police Deputy Assistant Commissioner Ade Adelekan told journalists that the force will not tolerate any criminal activity camouflaged as protest during the event.
Today, a phallic picture was spotted mowed into grass outside Bath's exclusive Royal Crescent. The rude drawing arrived overnight, it's unclear at this stage if it's a protest against this weekend's royal event.
