Bristol Pakistani youth group raises £70,000 for flood victims

The Bristol Pakistani community came together to raise money for flood victims at a fundraiser. Thousands of pounds was raised to build new homes devastated by floodwater in Pakistan.

In total, £70,000 was raised by Bristol Youth Empowerment, which organised the recent fundraiser at the Hilton Hotel. It will donate the money to UK charity Hope for Mankind, which has set up an emergency appeal. The money will go towards building homes after 220,000 were destroyed by the floodwater.
