Bristol Hippodrome has confirmed that the award-winning musical Hamilton is coming to our city - and fans are already going wild.
The incredible show will be in Bristol for eight weeks from Tuesday, April 30 to June 22, 2024. Tickets will go on sale May 15 this year.
The Olivier, Tony, Grammy and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical opened at the newly re-built and restored Victoria Palace Theatre in London in December 2017 where it continues to play to sell-out houses and is currently booking until March 2, 2024. Telling the story of American Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, it has gone on to win a multitude of awards - including 11 of its 16 nominated awards at the 70th Tony Awards in 2016 and the 2016 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.

Excited fans were already tagging their loved ones, with many echoing the sentiment that they "have to go" and see it. "Finally!!!" commented one on Instagram, with another adding: "IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS TO COME TO BRISTOL."
With book, music, and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, direction by Thomas Kail, choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler, and musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire, HAMILTON is based on Ron Chernow’s acclaimed biography. The HAMILTON creative team previously collaborated on the Tony Award®-Winning Best Musical In the Heights.
HAMILTON features scenic design by David Korins, costume design by Paul Tazewell, lighting design by Howell Binkley, sound design by Nevin Steinberg and hair and wig design by Charles G. LaPointe.
