Bristol Harbour Festival: All the First Bus routes affected by road closure this weekend

First Bus passengers have been warned of disruption to several routes this weekend in preparation for the Bristol Harbour Festival. The festival is returning for the first time since 2019 in time for its 50th anniversary this year.

Broad Quay in Bristol city centre will be closed to various services from 6pm on Friday, July 15 and will remain fully shut to traffic until 11.59pm on Sunday, July 17 to facilitate this year's Harbour Festival. The bus company has said all bus stops on the diversion routes will be observed during this closure.

In a statement on the bus diversions, First Bus added: "There is also a temporary bus stop at the end of Redcliff Street heading towards Bedminster. There will be extra Inspectors patrolling the Broad Quay and Broadmead areas to assist you."
