A Brislington man enjoyed food and champagne at a luxury hotel. The only trouble was it was paid for with a stolen debit card.
Cameron Rattigan-Harrison was with a friend at the Macdonald Bath Spa Hotel. Bristol Crown Court heard his friend booked a room and dealt with staff and Rattigan-Harrison came to realise the use of the card was fraudulent - but he still enjoyed the benefits of it.
The 33-year-old, of Wick Road, was to face trial but pleaded guilty to fraud amounting to £1,687.30 on the day of the hearing. Judge Euan Ambrose handed him an 18-month community order.
