Flooding is causing disruption in parts of Bristol as heavy rain continues to batter the region. Part of Bond Street around the Bearpit in the city centre was partially closed this morning due to flood water. The Henbury Ford has also flooded, leaving it impassable for buses and disrupting services.
Services one and two are unable to service Station Road in Henbury due to the flooding and services have been diverted. In a tweet at 9.15am, First West of England said: “Services 1 and 2 will be unable to service Station Road in Henbury due to the ford being too dangerous to go through.
"Services diverted via Wyck Beck Road.” Lower Ashley Road has also suffered with flooding this morning, and elsewhere the trains are also disrupted.

GWR tweeted just before 10am: "Due to heavy rain flooding the railway between Bristol Parkway and Swindon, all lines are blocked. Train services running through these stations may be delayed or diverted between Bristol Parkway and Swindon."
Bristol city Cllr Mohamed Makawi tweeted a video showing flood water around the Bearpit (St James Barton Roundabout) at 8.30am, with lane closures in place. It is not clear if the closures are ongoing but congestion on the approach does still look heavy on traffic sensors, as of 11am.
The disruption comes as a number of flood warnings and alerts remain in place across the region. There are flood alerts in place across North Somerset and in the River Chew catchment area as well as three current flood warnings and 19 flood alerts across Somerset.
The heavy rain seen over recent days is expected to subside later today (April 1) with drier conditions expected.
