A popular Bristol curry house has surprised fans with a fabulously festive cover of a Christmas classic. Urban Tandoor, based in Clifton, conducted an "Oscar worthy" performance of East 17's 'Stay Another Day' - or 'Bring Another Tray'.
Complete with fake snow and what appears to be a smoke machine, four crew members wearing Christmas hats and chunky sunglasses sing along in the familiar tune of the popular Christmas pop song which was originally released in 1994.
The 45 second long black and white video sees the "East India 17" crew members sing: "Baby if you want a takeaway/ or maybe a sit down and stay/ won't you bring another tray."

They continue: "Oh don't leave me the leftover chips/ don't say there's not chutney dip/ won't you bring another tray."
Urban Tandoor owner Sujith D'almeida said: "It was just to get people smiling with all of the things happening with strikes, sickness, all of these problems, just to cheer them up. That's it!"
Sujith said the video was recorded in the restaurant by the whole team, but that they did not have plans to enter it in the race to the UK's Christmas number one announced on December 23. "It's just for fun. It's going the distance actually, many people on Twitter have shared it."
The video has been viewed more than 90,000 times on TikTok alone, with fans surprised the video hasn't already gone viral. One commenter said it was a "masterpiece", while another said the band gave an "Oscar worthy" performance.
One TikTok user said: "Legends... but don't quit the day job," to which they restaurant responded: "Nothing would ever stop us serving curry."
Another fan said: "Fairytale of New York sit down, there's a new sheriff of Christmas songs in town. Take my money boys."
Urban Tandoor recently took home the Diners' Choice Awards at the British Curry Awards, which recognises the restaurant's efforts in engaging audiences on social media. The national award was picked up by the curry house, who have nearly 31K followers on TikTok, and have amassed more than 1.3 million likes on the video streaming platform.
Speaking about the award, Sujith said: "It was a different type of award to win, it happens on the spot. People kept voting until the end at 10pm, when they closed the line. It was time for us to come back and I said 'I don't think we're winning anything let's make a move' and that's when they announced it.
"When you see the big names there you already give up. I didn't think we were in that category, we are okay in Bristol but not in the UK. It was good to be recognised all over the UK for a different twist."
