A new coach service has been launched that will allow passengers to travel directly to Holland and Belgium from Bristol this summer. From next month, budget coach travel company FlixBus, will launch five new routes travelling to European cities from Bristol.
Direct routes from Bristol to Antwerp, Utrecht and Amsterdam are set to launch from Thursday, July 13. Then from Friday, July 21, services from Bristol to Bruges, Rotterdam and Amsterdam, via London, will operate five days a week through FlixBus partner, Turners coaches, based in Bristol.
FlixBus has also announced plans to extend its route between London and Penzance for the summer season. The extension of the current Bristol to Plymouth route will also mean buses will operate twice daily to Penzance, Newquay and Hayle.

Tickets from Bristol to Amsterdam and Rotterdam start at £27.99. While a coach from Bristol to the mediaeval city of Bruges in north-west Belgium could cost as little as £19.99. FlixBus will also launch travel between Leeds, Sheffield, Nottingham, Leicester, Cambridge, Stratford, North Greenwich, Antwerp, Utrecht and Amsterdam on July 13.

Low cost coach company megabus also travels to European cities, however to travel to Amsterdam on the coach passengers would need to get to London first before getting on a megabus to Amsterdam.
