Bristol City player ratings vs Wycombe: Scott changes the game in memorable night for Kadji

Dan Bentley - 6

Didn't have a save to make in the first half although and claimed his crosses well. Flapped at a corner at the start of the second half but got away with it moments before the equaliser which he had little chance with.

George Tanner - 6

Played on the right of the back three and was solid enough in the first half, beaten once by the striker on the byline. Needed to do better to stop the cross coming in for the equaliser. Produced a great cross which Martin should have scored.

Timm Klose - 6

Good to see him back in action in the middle of the back three and enjoyed a solid game. Vocal in helping Tanner out to his right. Made a number of important defensive headers.

Kal Naismith - 7

Another brilliant delivery from a corner that led to City's opening goal. Al-Hamadi got behind him to head in the equaliser but it was more to do with the quality of the cross. Another superb assist to set up Wilson. What a weapon his left foot is.

Kane Wilson - 7

Found it difficult in the opening 45 minutes. Ball control seemed off and he ran the ball out of play a couple of times but was a lot better in the second period, firing in the winner from Naismith's excellent delivery. It was a superb finish too on the angle.

Cam Pring - 7

A number of really good runs down the left flank and a couple of crunching tackles to boot. Had a brilliant chance from a corner but headed it over the crossbar. Another good cameo and was certainly fit enough to last the 90 minutes...

Andy King - 7

Sat in front of the back three and produced a solid performance without really drawing much attention to himself. Played a brilliant pass into Tanner which almost led to a goal.

Dylan Kadji (off 60, Scott) - 7

Couldn't have dreamed of a better debut, opening the scoring after just seven minutes. Was a nuisance in the midfield, winning the ball back in good areas. Understandably raw at times but a really positive debut before being replaced on the hour mark.

Han-Noah Massengo (off 60, James) - 6

It was a very scrappy game in midfield and therefore he found it difficult to get his foot on the ball and commit driving runs forward. Had an opportunity to turn in Martin's rebound but the wait for a goal continues.

Wycombe's direct tactics meant the play bypassed him.

Chris Martin (off 70, Semenyo) - 6

A quiet first half but should have scored 10 minutes into the second half when his header from close range was brilliantly saved. Won his fair share of defensive headers including one that flew over the stand but found it difficult to link up with Wells.

Nahki Wells (off 45, Conway) - 5

Struggled to get into the contest in the first 45 minutes and seemed to be on the receiving end of a few niggly kicks by defender Chris Forino. Replaced at half-time by Conway.

Substitutes

Tommy Conway (on 45, Wells) - 6

Really lively in the opening 15 minutes of the second half. His pace caused Wycombe's defence trouble and unselfishly assisted Semenyo right at the end.

Alex Scott (on 60, Kadji) - 7

Changed the game on his introduction and provided the injection of quality City were missing in midfield.

Matty James (on 60, Massengo) - 6

Kept it simple and added resilience to the midfield. Wasn't eager to get forward.

Antoine Semenyo (on 70, Martin) - 6

Understandably rusty on his introduction, summed up when he ran the ball out of play in the 82nd minute. Then hammered a left-footed cross into the stands. Still a danger on the left. Just great to see him back in action and grabbed his goal right at the death.

Subs not used: O'Leary, Atkinson, Vyner, Dasilva
