Dan Bentley - 6
Unlucky with the first goal having tipped it onto the post and no chance with the second. Made a decent save at 0-0 to deny Chair. Did well in the second half when called upon.
Zak Vyner - 5
Came really close to heading City in front moments before QPR's opener. Bailed out Naismith's error to prevent a likely third. Lacked composure with the ball at his feet under the intense pressure of QPR's forwards.
Kal Naismith - 4
A shocker of a first half. Apart from one great delivery, gave the ball away numerous times and confidence looked shot after his first of many errors. Better in the second as QPR dropped deeper and doesn't hide from his errors although needs to improve.
Rob Atkinson (off 65, Martin) - 4
Struggled to deal with the pace of Tyler Roberts and the ball over the top. Was caught running towards his own goal on too many occasions. Lost his man at the back post for the second.
Mark Sykes (off 73, Wilson) - 5
A really difficult opening 45 minutes. Squandered possession early on numerous times and got caught on the overlap for QPR's second. Improved in the second half but found wanting positionally. Came off for Wilson after City switched to a back four.
Jay Dasilva - 6
Difficult to fault his performance and couldn't be blamed for City's poor defending in the first half. Showed plenty of attacking intent in the second half.
Joe Williams (off 73, Massengo) - 5
Started the game really well but after QPR adjusted, City's midfield were outnumbered and he became less influential. An energetic performance but frustrating with final ball on occasions. Came off in the second half with 17 minutes to play.
Alex Scott - 6
Arguably one of City's brightest performers. One of the few players who looked composed in possession and played in a more advanced role in the second half. Booked and will miss Tuesday's game.
Andi Weimann (off 73, King) - 5
Made a really poor error by gifting possession to the visitors that allowed them to open the scoring. Looked way off the pace in the first half but improved in the second - made a great diagonal run before assisting Wells.
Nahki Wells - 6
Frustrated not to receive Conway's pass in the first half but gave City hope in the second when he fired in from close range on the hour mark. Frustratingly headed wide from a corner but looked the most likely player to bring the Robins level.
Tommy Conway (off 45, Semenyo) - 5
Had a golden opportunity to pull one back in the first half but opted to shoot instead of squaring to Wells who was free to his right. A really poor decision. Was his only notable contribution before being taken off at half-time.
Substitutes
Antoine Semenyo (on 45, Conway) - 6
Got into really smart positions and caused QPR's defence problems on his introduction. Drove at the backline and his presence in the box allowed Wells the space to score.
Chris Martin (on 65, Atkinson) - 5
Barely got into the game on his introduction.
Kane Wilson (on 73, Sykes) - 5
Got into decent positions going forward and looked to drive City into advanced positions. Worryingly looked tired in the final five minutes.
Andy King (on 73, Weimann) - 5
Sat deep and offered a defensive structure to City's midfield. Didn't have to do too much as QPR sat deep as they looked to hold onto the lead. Sliced an ambitious effort well wide.
Han-Noah Massengo (on 73, Williams) - 6
Certainly improved City's midfield when he came on - King sitting deep allowed him to press forward.
Subs not used: O'Leary, Tanner
