Bristol City goalkeeper Max O'Leary was drafted into the Ireland squad tonight ahead of the games with Scotland and Ukraine.
He replaces Bohemians' James Talbot who injured his shoulder in this afternoon's training ahead of tomorrow's Aviva Stadium clash with the Scots.
The extent of Talbot's shoulder injury is not clear but he has returned to the Gypsies for treatment.
O'Leary, who qualifies through his Kerry-born grandfather, was first called in by Mick McCarthy in 2019.
He remains uncapped but was also drafted in by Stephen Kenny for the March friendlies against Belgium and Lithuania.
