A Bristol city centre restaurant and bar housed in a Grade I-listed building has announced it has permanently closed. Klosterhaus in Quakers Friars has released a statement on its website.
The German-inspired restaurant first opened in October 2020 situated within the landmark 18th-century building by Broadmead that was once a Quaker meeting house. Klosterhaus is owned by the hospitality group D&D London which has a portfolio of 45 bars, restaurants and hotels in London, Paris, Manchester, Leeds and Birmingham.
Klosterhaus described itself as a glamorous destination restaurant spread across two floors. Its menu, which featured German and European cuisine, was only just updated for the New Year to include 12 new dishes.
