Bristol City announce signing of goalkeeper Sam Tickle with hilarious Mr Men video

• Bristol City have completed the signing of goalkeeper Sam Tickle from Wigan Athletic.
• Tickle, 24, has joined Bristol City after coming through Wigan’s academy before breaking into the club’s senior squad.
• Bristol City announced Tickle’s arrival with a hilarious Mr Men video on Thursday morning, as they made reference to the character Mr Tickle from the books written by Roger Hargreaves.
• The video begins with the Mr Men theme tune from the TV series playing on a laptop, before making reference to Mr Tickle’s “extraordinarily long arms”.
• Tickle then appears in shot as he shuts the laptop while keeping a straight face and says “Naa mate, we’re not doing that”, with the video concluding by confirming: “Sam Tickle is a Robin”.
