Many people will be using Bristol Airport this summer - either to travel themselves or to pick someone up. Parking charges vary greatly between different car parks, so it is worth being aware of a tip shared by the airport.
Bristol Airport has shared details on how drivers can save money when collecting or dropping off passengers. There is an area where drivers can park free of charge for up to an hour.
In a tweet, the airport said that the Waiting Zone on the Southside of the airport is free for up to one hour, with a bus service operating between the terminal and the car rental centre. This could be a way for drivers to save quite a bit of money.

At present, the airport's 'Short Stay and Pick Up' car park costs £5 for up to 20 minutes, £7 for up for £40 and £10 for hour. In comparison, 'Drog & Go' costs £5 for 10 minutes and goes up to £20 for an hour.
This means the Waiting Zone could mean a big saving when going to the airport. Bristol Airport tweeted: "Our Waiting Zone on the Southside of the airport is free of charge for up to one hour for dropping off/ collecting passengers, with a bus service operating between the terminal and the Car Rental Centre."
