PASCAL GROSS reckons Evan Ferguson won’t be the only Irish teenager lighting up the Premier League in Brighton colours this year.
Ferguson has scored two goals in his last two Premier League appearances - against Arsenal and Everton - and is set for another start in the FA Cup this weekend against Middlesbrough.
He could be joined in the starting-11 by 19-year-old Andrew Moran tomorrow at the Riverside.
Former Bray Wanderers midfielder Moran - dubbed “the Irish Phil Foden” by his ex-Brighton academy coach Matt Beard - made his Premier League debut as a substitute against the Toffees.
And Gross said: “They’re both doing really well in training every day. They’re both great young players.
“In your first Premier League games, maybe the nerves can affect you, but Evan played a great game.
“He’s fighting, he’s playing good football and he fits right into the team.
“Andy is a brilliant player as well and I am really pleased that he got his debut.”
