Roberto De Zerbi has called on his Brighton players to 'make new history' as they prepare to travel to Elland Road to face Leeds United on Saturday.
Brighton are seven points adrift of the top four as it stands but boast three games in hand over fourth-place Tottenham Hotspur. The Italian is aiming to become the first manager in history to lead the Seagulls to European qualification, and De Zerbi has issued a rallying cry for his side to seize the momentum.
“I’m delighted with the performance of my players. We have a dream and we know we can write a new history for the club. That’s very important for us and a nice challenge," De Zerbi said in his pre-match press conference.

He added: "We have to push, we have to think game by game, and tomorrow starts a difficult period for us because we play Saturday, Wednesday and then Sunday.
"But we are ready to fight, to try and arrive on our target in the Premier League and FA Cup. We want to win every game, we want to play every game with our quality and our style."
Leeds will also be mindful of Brighton's form on the road in the Premier League. Only league leaders Arsenal (25) and reigning champions Manchester City (23) have scored more away goals than the Albion (22).
Furthermore, only four clubs have amassed more points than Brighton (17) since the World Cup break. The Seagulls will also be buoyed by their strong head-to-head record against Leeds. The Whites have failed to win any of their last five meetings, and have emerged victorious just once in their last 12 games against the Albion.
