Brighton have reportedly “banished” Leandro Trossard from training ahead of the clash against Liverpool.
The Reds take on Brighton in the Premier League on Saturday as they look to climb the table. Jurgen Klopp’s side are currently in sixth place and seven points adrift of the top four places.
Liverpool last faced Brighton in a thrilling draw at Anfield back in October. The match ended in a 3-3 stalemate, with Trossard scoring a hat-trick for the visitors.

In doing so he became only the third player in Premier League history to score a hat-trick at Anfield as a visiting player. The others were Andrey Arshavin for Arsenal in 2009 and Peter Ndlovu for Coventry City in 1995.
However, according to a report from the Daily Mail, Liverpool will not have to worry about facing Trossard this weekend. It has been claimed that Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi has “banished” the forward from training due to an attitude issue.
The report states that the Belgium international has been training away from the rest of the team since returning from the World Cup. Trossard has been suffering from a calf issue, but the article says the decision was made by De Zerbi due an attitude problem with the forward.
De Zerbi was asked about Trossard in his pre-match press conference, where he confirmed that the forward will not be available to face Liverpool. "‘Leo knows very well my opinion and what I want," De Zerbi is quoted saying by Johnny Cantor.
