Is there anything more British than a scenic drive in terrible weather? Rain lashes the windows in a way that recalls childhood holidays, holed up in a cottage playing board games and peering out at the glowering sky.
“I think it’s really cosy,” says Alexis Foreman, an art director and content creator who has attracted more than 150,000 Instagram followers with her shrewd eye for style. “And hey, we get to test out the windscreen wipers!”
She’s right, there are far worse places to be in a downpour than tucked inside the Volvo EX60, a car built for both comfort and adventure. “Aesthetically it really pleases me,” says Foreman, who has a soft spot for Scandinavian design. “I love these calm interiors and the panoramic roof, which lets so much light in. Even on a day like today.”
