Arsenal earned an impressively routine win over Brighton to return to the top of the Premier League table on Saturday night.
Goals from Bukayo Saka, Kai Havertz and Leandro Trossard condemned the Seagulls to their first home defeat since September.
Saka fired the Gunners ahead from the penalty spot in the 33rd minute after Tariq Lamptey's clumsy foul on Gabriel Jesus.
Havertz struck just after the hour mark when he steered in a low cross from Jorginho.
Trossard wrapped up the win against his former club late on with a smart dink over Seagulls keeper Bart Verbruggen.
Arsenal's 10th win in their last 11 league games put them on 71 points from 31 games. Liverpool, who play away at Manchester United on Sunday, are on 70, as are champions Manchester City.
Arsenal's goal difference is also significantly better than their two rivals.
City and Arsenal must now turn their attention to the Champions League as they face difficult games against Real Madrid away and Bayern Munich at home, respectively, on Tuesday.
