Most of us probably think of wedding receptions as big parties that usually come with an open bar and involve family members getting a little too drunk. But alcohol is by no means a requirement at a wedding, and if the bride and groom decide they don't want it present on their big day, then their decision is final.
One bride who is considering banning booze at her wedding is receiving backlash for her choice though, as she's been told by her friends and family that she's "stuck up" for wanting a sober celebration. The woman is getting married next year and has said that since she and her fiancé both don't drink, they don't see the appeal in paying for other people around them to get drunk - especially with how expensive an open bar can be.
