Messages of support have flooded in for a young woman given days to live after suffering years of sickness.
Ashleigh McMahon, from Anfield, started suffering from symptoms in 2018 and it was initially believed the 29-year-old was suffering from cyclical vomiting syndrome, and was then diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
But in January this year, Ashleigh's condition took a turn for the worse and she was diagnosed with mucinous ovarian carcinoma, a rare, aggressive type of ovarian cancer. Devastatingly Ashleigh has now only days to live and is on end off life care, after marrying her long term partner on Monday, April 3.
