BRICS leaders on Saturday adopted the New Delhi Declaration, setting out an 18-point agenda focused on strengthening the voice of the Global South, reforming global governance and expanding cooperation among emerging markets and developing countries.
The declaration was adopted at the 18th BRICS Summit in New Delhi in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chinese President Xi Jinping, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, among other leaders and representatives attending the two-day summit.
