Brian Kerr has jokingly branded Ajax ace Sebastien Haller as a 'grumpy head' on Virgin Media's Champions League coverage.
The former Ireland manager is a regular on the show and appeared alongside Damien Delaney on Wednesday night as they viewed Manchester United's 1-1 draw against Atletico Madrid.
And the pair stuck around for the highlights show as they recapped the thrilling 2-2 draw of Benfica and Ajax.
In the game, star man Sebastien Haller scored an own goal in the 26th minute before a near instant reprieve two minutes later as he scored a quick equaliser.
But there was a muted celebration from the Ivory Coast forward as his side took the lead.
And Brian Kerr said that Haller has a 'grumpy head'.
When asked about his lack of celebration, Kerr said: "I remember seeing him at Eintracht Frankfurt and West Ham and my reaction was that your man has a bit of a grumpy head on him, what's wrong with and why does he do it?
"It's obviously something he has thought about. There was a glimmer of a smile there when he got the goal having given the own goal away.
"What I read in a quote is he doesn't want to celebrate because he wants to focus on the next ball comes to it and he's right at it.
"Probably when he goes home he loses it and runs around the house throwing his arms around the place."
The game would finish 2-2 after Roman Yaremchuck scored in the 72nd minute, leaving it all to play for in the second leg.
