Brian Dowling was left panicking as his plane only had “fuel to circle for an hour” at Manchester Airport.

He told his Instagram followers: “OK we finally landed in Manchester Airport. We had a bit of an issue in the air. When we were coming in to land, the captain informed us that there was an emergency in Manchester Airport.

“So no one was able to take off or land and we had to circle for at least 20 minutes. But his concern was we only had enough fuel to circle for an hour. I started to panic.”
Thankfully, Brian landed safely but he then started to worry about whether he’d see his luggage again.
He said: "Thankfully we only circled for 20 minutes. There was enough fuel. We have landed and now I'm like, 'where's my bag? My bag's not going to come out'. I'm a panicker people. Here she is, here's my bag all by herself."
