Brian Cox fantasizes about his death

Brian Cox often thinks about how he's going to die

Brian Cox fantasizes about how he's going to die.

The 'Succession' actor, 78, has revealed he thinks about death "all the time" and has run through all the "different scenarios" about how he could pass away - revealing his top choice would be to die at home with a cup of tea and the TV on.

He told the Guardian newspaper: "Yes, [I think about death] all the time. I have a fantasy every night about how I’m going to die. I don’t think about it in a depressing way. I just think of all the possible scenarios.

When asked to share his "favourite" scenario, Brian added: "Going without fuss, wrapped up in bed with a cup of tea, maybe with the telly on."

During the interview he was also asked about his grumpy persona and Brian admitted he may have "upset" a few people over the years because he's "quite a loudmouth".

He explained: "I feel I’ve upset a few people over the years. The problem is, I can be quite a loudmouth. Sometimes I have been fairly volatile, and I think, ‘Why the f*** did you say that?'"

Brian is married to Nicole Ansari and he previously revealed they got married in 2002 after two years of dating because he gave her an ultimatum - telling her they either needed to exchange vows or split up.

In an interview with The Sunday Times newspaper, he explained: "Over the next two years [after they started dating], I was away so much with work she ended up spending more time with my assistant in London than she did with me.

"I was playing Dennis Quaid's father in 'The Rookie' and she came out to see me in Austin, Texas. She wasn't happy.

"I said we can either split or we can get married."

Nicole agreed to marry Brian and the pair eloped to Las Vegas the next day.

The actor went on: "We went to the Little White Wedding Chapel in Vegas the next day. That was 24 years ago. It was great fun and that's been our relationship ever since."
