Bret Michaels is taking a break from his tour

Bret Michaels is taking a break from touring for "three to four weeks" after undergoing kidney stone surgery.

The 63-year-old Poison star sparked fears for his health last month when he was forced to cancel a show in Nashville, Tennessee when he was rushed to hospital. He returned to performing but was diagnosed with a complicated obstructing kidney stone on July 19 and has undergone an operation which requires him to take a break from the road to recover.
