Tottenham's search for a new permanent manager goes on after dismissing Antonio Conte in March. Since then things have hardly gone smoothly with his assistant Cristian Stellini also removed from his post as caretaker boss.
It is currently Ryan Mason occupying the role as placeholder until a new head coach is found and ex-Leicester, Swansea and Liverpool man Brendan Rodgers has been tipped with coming in. Rodgers was sacked by the Foxes last month after a run of six losses in a row.
It brought to an end a struggle of a season in-which Leicester were cut adrift at the bottom of the table, recovered into safety but got dragged back into the relegation dog-fight. These don't paint a positive picture of him but previous success at Anfield and the initial years at Leicester tell a different story.

Just over 12 months ago and Rodgers was one of the hottest properties in British management having helped Leicester into Europe for back-to-back seasons as well as an FA Cup victory. He is now the third favourite to be appointed by Daniel Levy as the next boss.
Behind Julian Nagelsmann and Vincent Kompany, here's the latest.
Rodgers 'keen'
According to reports, the 50-year-old is keen on joining Spurs and will be interviewed for the post. Given his previous experience working within a budget he has moved into place as one of the options heading into the summer.
Having been sacked from Leicester there is also not the need to pay out for him to come in, something that the club have been determined to avoid doing.
'Spotted' at match
Rodgers is taking his time out of work and was spotted watching on over former club Celtic as they faced off against Rangers in the Scottish Cup semi-final.
Rodgers has returned to Scotland several times since leaving halfway through the season and has become a less popular figure at the club than someone with his success may warrant on the face of it.
Souness dismay
Sky pundit Graeme Souness has sent a warning to Levy over the potential appointment of Rodgers in north London.
“Brendan Rodgers could have his name attached to relegation if Leicester were to go down. Is that a fit for Spurs? Spurs supporters will be up in arms about that," he said.
Redknapp tips him to join
Speaking after the 4-3 loss to Liverpool, the former Spurs midfielder said: “It might just be a little bit early for him [Ryan Mason] at Tottenham. And it feels like a Nagelsmann, or a Brendan Rodgers will probably be the options.
“They tried to get Rodgers a few years ago and he didn’t end up coming but I wouldn’t be surprised if they try to talk to him. He’s out of work and I’m a big fan of Brendan Rodgers he’s a good manager.”
