Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers has stated that he loves watching Harry Kane play, apart from against his own club. A pivotal figure in the Tottenham team since breaking into the XI on a permanent basis under Mauricio Pochettino, the striker has scored for fun when coming up against the Foxes.
Producing one of his best performances of the season back in January when Tottenham travelled to the King Power Stadium, the England captain has 18 goals in total against his former loan club. Noting his development and how much his game has improved over the past few years, Rodgers is well aware that Kane isn't the only player at Tottenham to make their system tick.
“He's a world-class striker and has proven that for the past few years. Apart from against Leicester, I love watching him play," said Rodgers in his pre-match press conference, as reported by Leicestershire Live. "You can see how he's improved and how he's developed. It’s been great to see him at the very highest level.
