Breathitt County getting over $1 million in grant funding to support flood recovery, construction pr

Flood Breathitt County

State funding totaling $1.3 million is going towards flood recovery and construction projects in Breathitt County.

That includes $538,125 dollars in flood recovery money. Two senior living apartments and an elevator at Federal Place Apartment Complex in Jackson are set to be restored after being damaged during last year’s flooding. The apartments will also be compliant with the federal Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
