A mum says her nipple "broke off" while breastfeeding her son and she had to use a plaster to reattach it to her body. The woman named Brooke shared her "rare experience" on TikTok, recalling how her nipple had begun to turn black due to a lack of blood flow.
In the video posted on her @Brookesobasic account, she recalled her breastfeeding "horror story" from when she was an inexperienced young mum. Brooke explained how she was confused when her son stopped feeding and appeared to be choking, before she realised what had happened, reports LeicestershireLive.
She said: "Here I am, just gave birth, trying to get my baby to latch. I was feeling like he has a good latch... I had all the help I needed, felt really positive, the baby was gaining weight.
